March 18-22 is School Board Recognition week – a time to salute the work of our school board members and to celebrate public education.
It’s an exciting and challenging time in public education. School board members in Stephens County develop policies and make touch decisions that help shape the future of our education system. They bear the responsibility for an annual budget of $32 million, 4030 students, 682 employees and 8 buildings. They are citizens whose decisions affect our children and build our communities.
